Alexis Minnick
HEAD COACH
Alexis returns to us for the 2026 season as head coach. Alexis has a Master's degree in elementary education from Virginia Tech, and is employed by Rockingham County Public Schools. Alexis brings experience and dedication to our team along with a positive attitude. She is well loved by all our swimmers.
Liz Corder
Head Coach
We are excited that Liz returns for another summer swim season. Liz is beloved by our swimmers and is a gifted teacher for our younger swimmers. Liz is a trained swim instructor and brings kindness and enthusiasm to team. Liz is currently in graduate school at JMU.
Emma Thacker
Assistant Coach
Emma returns for another year as a vital part of the Dolphin's coaching staff. Her experience and swimming expertise alongside her kind attitude and caring spirit cannot be matched. Emma is a professor of education at JMU.
Lucy Ludwig
Assistant Coach and Junior Dolphins Coach
Lucy is also a former dolphin who joined the team at an early age and has been dedicated every year since. Last summer, she was instrumental in serving our youngest dolphins with her spirit of joy and caring.
Kate Davis
Assistant Coach
Kate returns to the Dolphin Team for the 2026 season. She has a long history with our team, having competed as a dolphin beginning at age 5. Kate brings energy and experience to our team. She is currently studying art and architecture at James Madison University and is a ski instructor at Massanutten throughout the ski season.
Meet Director
2026 marks Hilary's 11th year as meet director of the Spotswood Dolphins.
Hilary also serves as Vice-President of the VSL board. She brings experience and a smiling personality to our team, making sure our meets run smoothly and efficiently!
