Meet Recap and Updates

Hope everyone had a great week! The Dolphins competed this past week against the ERRA Barracudas. It was a fun meet full of great times and even better sportsmanship! All of our swimmers competed hard and despite a team loss to the Barracudas, our team shone with great sportsmanship and a number of awesome swims. Thank you to all of our volunteers and a big shout out to Jonathan for being our golden dolphin of the meet.

After a year of working hard in the off-season, Jonathan dropped nearly 9 seconds on his 50-meter backstroke and placed 1st in all of his individual events!

We are really proud of our swimmers, here are a few standout moments from the meet:

• Emma Bessalko crushing her events in her first ever meet!

• Jack Gogia placing as the only 6U boy in the 25m Free

• Ziva dropping almost 12 seconds to place 1st in the 8u 25m Fly

Today we finished the week with another Fun Friday. Thank you to the Vernooy family for providing bagels for our team! Congratulations to the following swimmers of the week:

Jonah rocked the ERRA swim meet! He has been coming to practice every day (sometimes twice a day!) and works hard every time he is in the pool. Jonah is a great team player, and we are happy to have him as a part of our Dolphin family!

Pace always has a smile on her face and is truly a positive force on our team! She comes to practice for fun and always does her best. She swam great races in our last meet and is a wonderful role model on our team.
