A great start to July

Happy 4th of July!

Our first home meet was awesome! Broadway brought a ton of swimmers but our Dolphin Team swam fast and exhibited wonderful sportsmanship throughout the night. A few quick shouts-outs from the meet:

• Hannah Barker placed 3rd in her first ever meet in 6U freestyle.

• Cooper Davis finished 1st in a very close 12U breaststroke.

• Colin Regan returned to the Dolphin team to place first in all of his individual races.

Our Golden Dolphin award for the Broadway meet was awarded to John!

John swam great at the Broadway meet, improving all of his best times by 2-4 seconds! He crushed the 50 Fly, placing 1st, and was encouraging to all of his teammates throughout the night. John has stepped up this year to be a wonderful leader and is always helpful.

On Friday, we concluded our week with another FUN FRIDAY practice featuring team-building games and a quick synchronized swim challenge. Thank you to the Sodikoff family for providing bagels this week!

Mary had a wonderful week! She always swims her best, whether in meets or in practice. She comes to the pool with a smile on her face and is a kind, strong force on our team. Way to go, Mary!

Will is a quiet presence on our team. He is a great swimmer and always gives 100%. Will listens to coaches and is always fun to be around!

Looking ahead to next week, hopefully, the weather will not be an issue with our home meet on Tuesday against Westover. The theme this week is PJs. We will follow the meet with another pizza party!
